Unchained Labs snags Economic Driver Award in Pleasanton, CA

November 16, 2016 – Pleasanton, CA – Unchained Labs, the life sciences company that’s all about getting biologics researchers the right tool for the job, received the 2016 Economic Driver Award from the Pleasanton Chamber and City of Pleasanton today. The company was recognized for its innovative products, ability to attract investment, substantial impact on the local economy and continued economic promise.

In October, Unchained Labs opened the doors to its new corporate headquarters, expanding its total Pleasanton footprint to nearly 50,000 square feet. All of the company’s products are designed and manufactured in Pleasanton.

“Unchained Labs has really taken off,” said Jerry Thorne, Mayor of Pleasanton. “In less than two years, the company has created over 75 new jobs in the city of Pleasanton and more than 100 globally. They are very deserving of this recognition and I look forward to watching their continued success.”

“Receiving this award from the City of Pleasanton is a real honor for all of us,” said Tim Harkness, Founder and CEO at Unchained Labs. “I’m very proud that we’ve had a small part in building our local economy, and I can’t think of a better place for us to have put down roots.”
